The arrival of the new technologies and the changing society: allows to satisfy the necessities of the school of the XXI century.
Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are potentially powerful enabling tools for educational change and reform.
ICTs help us to introduce new methodologies and learning environments.
ICTs help us to improve education according to the new social reality.

  1. ICTs will improve SS's communicative competence as long as teachers renew their teaching styles. Meaningful, situated learning is needed. Don't you agree?

  2. Yes, some of the advantages would be: up to date and real world technology...prepares the children for the modern world!
    Disadvantages: there are never enough resources (computers) for each classroom and you can't expect parents to buy their children a laptop to take to school....and, some teachers are from the old school and refuse to embrace it in their classrooms...
